Biodiesel (Methyl Esters) is a diesel replacement fuel made from virgin vegetable oils such as soybeans or Rapeseed. It can also be made from recycled restaurant oils. Unlike petroleum diesel, Biodiesel is a renewable resource, and it creates less pollution than petroleum diesel. It can be used alone or in combination with petroleum diesel or with heating oil. Generally, no expensive modificaitons to the engines are required. This maks it easier to integrate Biodiesel inot current systems than other alternative energy sources, which often require new equipment.

• Biodiesel has outstanding cleaning properties and will clean your fuel lines. The release of deposits may clog filters initially, and precautions should be taken.
• Biodiesel raises cloud points by 3-5°F Virgin and 10-12°F for recycled products.
