Do you provide equipment?

Yes, we sell, lease, and loan equipment for your fuel and lubricant dispensing and storage needs based on several criteria including estimated volume.

My equipment needs repaired. How can I get it fixed?

Typically, if we have provided the equipment, there is no charge to repair equipment problems caused by regular use. Please contact customer service to schedule a repair.

What are your credit terms?

Credit terms will be determined based on a review of your specific credit application but our standard terms are: net 10 days for transport delivery, net 15 days for tankwagon delivery, and net 30 days for lubricants.

How can I find the balance on my account?

Your account balance can be found by contacting our accounts receivable department.

How can I view electronic invoices?

You can view electronic invoices through our customer portal. Please contact customer service to get set up on the portal.

I have questions about the fees on my bill. Who can help?

You can speak to a member of our customer service team at 800-422-3645 or contact your sales representative directly.

What is the environmental compliance fee on my invoice?

Heritage Petroleum is committed to providing our customers with the best overall value by controlling costs. However, rising costs related to environmental compliance are things we cannot fully control. Our standard environmental compliance fee is meant to help us cover these increased costs and achieve an acceptable operating margin.

What is the customer portal?

Our customer portal allows you to view your invoices, run and export reports, and manage your account.

How do I get a login username/password for the customer portal?

Please contact customer service and provide an email address and designate an authorized representative for your company.

How does fixed pricing work?

There are several contract options available, but the most common is the fixed forward contract. With a fixed forward contract you can lock in a specific price based on the futures market for a certain number of gallons for a specific period of time. To learn more about our contract options please visit our Fuel Management tab.

What is SmartTank?

With our SmartTank technology you can login on your computer and see how much inventory and capacity you have at any specific time. At the same time we can login and see the same information. This allows us to recommend to you to either take a delivery because tomorrow's price will be higher or wait for a delivery because the price is falling.

Where does your fuel come from?

We purchase fuel from multiple supply points including local refineries and national oil companies and we ship our own product on the pipeline.

How is my price determined?

Your fuel price includes the cost of the fuel from the refinery, delivery costs, applicable excise taxes, applicable sales taxes, and our operating margin.

Why do fuel prices fluctuate so much?

Fuel prices fluctuate daily and sometimes multiple times in a day based on changing terminal prices due to changing commodity prices on the futures markets. Unfortunately, we cannot control the futures markets or the terminal prices.

How do I place an order?

If you are not currently a customer please click on become a customer and complete the forms. If you are a current customer please contact customer service or your sales representative.

When will my order be delivered?

For fuel, if you place your order before 9AM CST every attempt will be made to make your delivery before 6PM CST. Our dispatch team will work closely with you and make every attempt to insure your delivery is made according to your needs.

For lubricants, please allow 1-2 days for delivery on in-stock items. In some cases, same-day delivery is available. Our lubricants manager will work closely with you and make every attempt to insure your delivery is made according to your needs.
